Monterey County Annual Events Month of January
Rio Resolution Run- Carmel’s Rio Grill restaurant hosts this annual 6.8 mile run with the proceeds benefiting local nonprofits.
Month of February
AT&T Golf Tournament - AT&T hosts this annual pro/am golf tournament in Pebble Beach with the proceeds going to local nonprofits. This week long events brings with it many famous faces from the screen, music and sports.
Month of March
Pebble Beach Equestrian Show - This show located in Pebble Beach is rated “A” by the United States Equestrian Federation. A great show for young people.
Month of April
Good Old Days Celebration - A Pacific Grove tradition featuring the county’s largest arts and crafts show, parade, California Police Motorcycle competition and old-fashioned games and contests for the whole family to enjoy.
Sea Otter Classic - Monterey’s Sea Otter Classic is held at Mazda’s Laguna Seca Speedway and is for all types of biking. Races include mountain bike, road bike and dual stunt races. Plenty of vendors with great deals. So stock up for the year!
Big Sur International Marathon - Marathoners from around the world meet to compete along the awe inspiring Big Sur coastline.
Pebble Beach Food & Wine - A four day event bringing together 60 celebrity chefs and 250 acclaimed wineries.

Monterey Festival of Speed - Laguna Seca’s season kickoff race features Grand-Am’s Daytona Prototype and GT cars.
Month of June
Monterey Blues Festival - One of the premier Blues Festivals in the nation.
Month of July
U.S. Grand Prix Motorbike Races - A motorcycle race that attracts fans from all over the world.
Carmel Valley Fiesta
Feast of Lanterns - As old as the city itself, this weekend celebration features The Feast of Salads, Pet Parade street dancing. The grand finally takes place Lover’s Point and acts out the Feast of Lanterns fable and ends with a fireworks display.
Carmel Bach Festival - This three week festival takes place at many wonderful Carmel venues and features some of the country’s best orchestras.

Pebble Beach Concours’ d’ Elegance - The Pebble Beach Concours plays host to the finest antique automobiles from around the world. Held each August on the 18th fairway of the Pebble Beach Golf Links.

Jazz Festival - Monterey’s top notch Jazz Festival featuring world ranound artists.
Carmel Sand Castle Contest - Locals and vacationers alike compete at this annual contest on the beautiful sandy Carmel Beach.
Cherry’s Jubilee - ”Crusin for the Cause” Hot rod races at Laguna Seca benifiting Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital Foundation.

Callaway Golf Pebble Beach Invitational - The only tournament matching PGA & LPGA players together.
Month of December
Carmel Valley’s Santa Fly-in - Kids love to see Santa fly-in to Carmel Valley via helicopter and then join in the festivities like train rides.
First Night Monterey - This sober event is great for the family starting at 3p.m. and ending at Custom House Plaza midnight New Years Eve. There are many art projects to do, musical and dance shows to see and a fabulous parade for all to enjoy.
